This policy covers this website and the information that reaches us through it. It does not cover third-party sites you may reach from links published here.

Browsing the site asks nothing of you. Information reaches us only when you send it yourself through the contact form: your name, organisation, role, email address, telephone number, the domain closest to your subject, and your description of the challenge you are working on.

We would ask that the description not carry personal data about anyone else, or anything your organisation treats as confidential.

For one purpose: to read your enquiry, reply to it, and judge whether the work is a fit. We do not use it for direct marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

We process what you send on the basis that you submitted it voluntarily through the form, and only so far as replying to you requires.

We do not disclose your information to outside parties, other than the technical providers who run the infrastructure behind the site and our email — and then only as far as that service requires — or where a law or a competent authority obliges us to.

We hold enquiry details for as long as answering and following up on them requires, and thereafter for as long as our legal and professional obligations demand. Once the need has passed, the record is deleted or stripped of anything identifying.

You may ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to our processing it. Write to the address at the foot of this page and we will respond within a reasonable period.

This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. What is stored in your browser goes no further than running the site and remembering the language you chose.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what reaches us. No transmission over the internet can be entirely secure, however, so please do not send highly sensitive material through the form.
